About Your Job:
As the Fire Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and facilitating a variety of fire courses in accordance with an agreed training plan. These fire courses will include those used in service simulators, as well as theoretical and practical fire training. You will facilitate these instructional programs to a world class standard, using adult-learning focused techniques and based on best practice Learning & Development methodology.
You will facilitate workshops and develop action plans, design and develop training materials, utilise coaching techniques to improve employee performance and research and recommend changes to training content. You will also manage program logistics including venue arrangements, record keeping and post-program follow up in conjunction with L&D coordinators.
Acting as an Ambassador for Group Learning and Development you will forge and maintain positive relationships with external and internal customers creating solid professional relationships with management at all levels within the business.

About You:
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic Trainers with a real passion for what you do.
The right person for this role will ideally hold a Bachelors Degree from a recognised university related to fire or workplace safety. Commensurate amount of experience relevant to fire training could also be considered in lieu of a Degree. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a training environment delivering and developing training programs ideally within a multi-cultural environment. A minimum of 1 year experience specific to fire simulation equipment is essential. Additionally excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
