SIDR2655 - SPECIALIST - DATA ANALYST/QA
Job Summary:
The Specialist - Data Analyst/QA provides support to the Biomedical Engineering team in utilizing data/QA analysis to develop effective systems, policies and processes and to influence changes in departmental operations. The role compiles, analyzes and interprets data and metrics and prepares relevant reports to identify trends and risk areas and to validate compliance with Sidra’s quality standards. Will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the Biomedical Engineering module of Sidra’s CAFM System.
Key Accountabilities:
Actively develops and programs BME activities and reports in CAFM
Develops medical equipment asset standards in CAFM.
Develops and regularly updates PM check lists in CAFM.
Develops processes in CAFM to flag incomplete and/or inconsistent work orders.
Performs quality assurance tasks within the BME department.
Assists with audits and inspections of work orders, reports and processes to ensure a high standard of project management utilizing CAFM.
Performs quantitative and qualitative reviews on project and program management artefacts and data.
Conducts appropriate analysis on subject matter related and other data and metrics, identifies potential trends, inconsistencies and risks and draws conclusions.
Handles and organizes large datasets, applies various statistical techniques and prepares reports and presentations to summarize and communicate results.
Contributes to the development of appropriate reporting systems and tools.
Conducts data audits and quality checks as to provide accurate and timely analyses
Liaises with stakeholders to collect the information and data required.
Performs quantitative and qualitative quality reviews of the BME program, risks, issues, change requests, dependencies and other operational artefacts, using processes developed and defined by the management team.
Prepares departmental Quality Assurance Plans following quality reviews and plans quality activities to be performed on the work orders.
Reviews the processes for tasks relating to quality, makes recommendations on modifications to streamline operations and improve project performance.
Assists the Director and managers in the performance of audit tasks and with working with BME trainers in conducting ‘Lessons Learned workshops’ for BME and Clinical users.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in BME database management by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Works with procurement staff to maintain quality requirements from external suppliers.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Supports a number of ad-hoc initiatives on a non-recurring basis.
Ensures compliance with Sidra’s policies and regulations and maintains high quality standards.
