Senior Engineer (Cost & Planning)
Description:
The role holder is responsible for effectively provide budgeting and costing services for all Kahramaa’s water projects, by performing activities related to estimating costs for all planned water projects, analysing cash flow details, compiling and maintaining database for costing of contracts, and pre-qualifiying and evaluating bids for construction, operation and maintenance of water projects. Detail the methods, systems, interfaces and corporate cost and planning reporting functions to ensure Contractor’s daily, weekly and monthly cost/planning reports reflect actual work achieved against planned schedules and programmes.
Ensure that the cost and planning requirements of the contract can be met and that the proposed forms, schedules and contractor’s reports shall present cost and planning information adequately.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
More than 10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or in a similar role of which minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience preferably in the areas of electrical power and desalination projects
