Education: Bachelor's/College Degree in Instrumentation Engineering
Languages:Good communication skills in English both oral and written
Informative Systems: MSOffice Package (Word, Excel, Power Point), Windows Operating System, Fair Knowledge of Primavera and Autocad
Work experience: 10 years minimum
Age: 35 years → on
NOC mandatory
Ability to review Instrumentation Field Design Changes, as submitted by Contractor by giving the technical position addressing any foreseen cost and Time Impact prior to any implementation at site.ProvideTechnical support and assessment to Contracts Engineer, approved variations and claims (when raised by Contractor).
Carry out regular spot checks of Instrument materials delivered to site and construction related activities. Must direct the relevant Superintendents/Supervisors to continue monitoring & checking all on-going related activities are on schedule. This also includes inspection of stored materials on site to ensure it is as per approved materials and in good condition.
Coordinate with QA/QC manager to establish the intervention point in the proposed Inspection and Test Plan.
Closely monitor subordinate performance, related to his discipline, and advises the Project/Construction Manager in case of deficiency or poor performance.
Competences in reviewing/preparing all Instrument As-Built drawings. Related As built drawing shall be properly coordinated with the Site Engineer’s to make sure that it matches all site changes.
Role Description
Reporting to the Project/Construction Manager and will be the main interface for customers for all aspects related to Instrumentation works.
Responsible for reviewing the contract documents (Drawings and Specification), Contractor’s submittal, shop drawings, related to his discipline and verify/check its compliance with design requirements, contract requirements and are properly coordinated with other disciplines.
Performs regular visits to Project site to ensure that construction related activities are in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report any deviation.
