Position Title: Senior Advisor (Oil)
Business Division: Business Analysis and Planning
Primary Purpose of the Job:The position manages and provides specialist technical and commercial advice, in all areas related to Oil value chain, to H.E. the Minister of Energy & Industry, Chairman and MD of QP BoD, to facilitate H.E’s decision making and negotiations with other parties (local as well as international) by ensuring integrity and adequacy of information from internal and external sources.
Education:University Degree in an appropriate discipline (Business, Economics, Engineering) with postgraduate qualifications in management/business or postgraduate research qualification.
Experience & Skills:A minimum of 20 years professional experience is required in various positions in the Oil and Gas industry and related international organizations of which about 5 years should be in a Senior Advisory Position.Knowledge of all aspects of the Oil value chain such oil field production, transportation, refining & marketing, as well as knowledge of international oil markets, relationship and inter-play between oil and gas markets and value chains, OPEC, IEA, IEF and other international oil industry organizations.The position needs excellent communications skills in English, both written and spoken.
