Recruitment Specialist
Job Purpose:
To conduct full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned area aligned with Qatar Rail’s overall strategy & plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Monitors trends on the job market and analyzes the recruitment data available in the organization
• Advices on appropriate sourcing of candidates for the job vacancies
• Keeps track of manpower plans and acts proactively to adhere to plans
• Posts jobs on electronic media including job portals as well as company websites
• Keeps track of applications received from candidates and screens them as per job specifications
• Maintains an updated roster of participant placements and potential job opportunities.
• Responsible for effective and fast recruitment processes both internally and externally.
• Conducts full-cycle recruitment activities for all departments and positions
• Follows up and coordinates with recruitment channels
• Works closely with assigned departments to deliver recruitment needs.
• Coordinates proactively with departments for conducting interviews
• Prepares and submits candidates offers and follow up for obtaining approvals and acceptance
• Coordinates with universities, events in relation to targeted hires
• Supports Recruitment Manager with updated reports on recruitment progress.
• Prepares periodic recruitment reports to inform management of progress update and further instructions.

Hard Competencies:
Education:
• Bachelor Degree in related field.
• 2 years studies in HR or related field preferred Experience:
• 2 years recruitment experience in Qatar or 8-10 years of clerical/administrative assistant experience in recruitment function in Qatar
• Previous recruiter assistant or recruitment related experience preferred
• Successful track record of experience in a customer service environment
Professional Training:
• Excellent understanding of the mechanisms of acquisition of skills and knowledge.
Skills:
• Excellent phone skills and pleasant phone manner
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong PC skills using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
