Job Description :
Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor and dealing with contract management, estimating and high volume purchasing to select or negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers. Responsibilities included but not limited to: Must perform and manage the full Procurement / Supply Chain Management Legislation, Policies, procedures, norms and standards and stock control function ensuring: • Ensure best prices are negotiated for the company and ensure high standards of quality control are maintained • Ensure the company remains competitive at all time • Source and maintain supplier relationships • Ensure accepted processes are in place with audit trail requirements • Maintain stock levels, strictly adhering to lead times • Liaise with various branches ensuring the procurement and stock is done and received on time and according to orders. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement concepts. Strong writing skills are imperative. • Must have advanced excel skills • Must have strong analytical skills • Commodity experience would be an advantage • Strong knowledge of supply portfolio and market research and analysis Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills required. Solid phone and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines. Minimum Requirements: Candidate should be degree/diploma holder. Minimum 4 years’ experience in purchase. Knowledge in MS Office application and excellent communication skill.Interested candidates holding transferable Visa /Residence Permit Language requirement: English – additional language (Arabic) an advantage.
