Merchandiser (Inventory Controller) – (MER-001)

 

Position Summary
Handling the day to day operations and details of a specific category of products.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. All merchandising and inventory duties related to a specific category of products or as instructed by the Concept Manager.


Job Specification

  1. Report to the Assistant Concept Manager.
  2. Ensure the availability of merchandise at stores at all times.
  3. Watch the capacities of stores.
  4. Perform regular transfers to ensure fast sales of merchandise.
  5. Prepare and send Brands Orders to the Assistant Concept Manager.
  6. Tour the sales floor regularly.
  7. Ensure data of items on System data and its quality.
  8. Point of contact with Stores regarding respective Brands. Operations on potential store manager promotions.
  9. Suggesting potential store locations.
  10. Assessing potential store locations.
  11. To undertake an appraisal and personal/team development review annually and through self-development, continuously update and improve knowledge and competencies.

 Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  1. Sales Targets.
  2. Profit margin.
  3. Stock levels.
