Your Role
BESIX Group is the largest Belgian group, operating in and outside Europe in the construction of buildings, infrastructure, environmental projects and roads. BESIX/Six Construct is also active in the production of raw materials, facility management, real estate development and concessions.
For the reinforcement and strengthening of our Site Management Teams on our international projects in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Equatorial Guinea, Azerbaijan, etc. we are looking for a MEP electrical low voltage Manager having built up a career with a main contractor.
You hold the knowhow of the ELV part of our construction projects in all its aspects: design, performance, installation execution and the interaction with other trades;
You coordinate the MEP ELV design, purchasing and execution works by being interfacing between all parties involved (technical design office, architects, project managers, etc);
You have an all-round knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works;
You provide the planning input for the MEP ELV works;
You initiate and manage upstream schedule for ELV subcontracts and ELV designs;
You assist in technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff;
You are responsible for the as-built documents and drawings, for the performance tests, the commissioning and hand over, the snagging and snagging reports;
You audit the ELV subcontractors for validation by project management;
You will report to the Project Manager or MEP Project Director;
Your Profile
You are a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering;
You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar position and industry of which 5 years as an MEP ELV Manager;
You are fluent in English. Arabic, Dutch and French are an asset;
