Brief Description
The Events Specialist is responsible for planning and execution of events from conception through to completion to fulfill objectives. The role is very dynamic, incorporating a wide variety of tasks and event types. Working to deadlines, planning and project management will be a common feature of work to ensure events run well. Managing venues, suppliers, partners etc. And on the day of an event, problem-solving and ensuring delivery of a successful event.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in International Events Management or equivalent.
· Master’s degree in events management, journalism/communications or media is an added advantage.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field.
· Ability to lead by example and empower teams.
· Excellent communications and negotiation skills,
· Arabic and English fluent. Ability to work in a multinational environment.
· Analytical skills,
· Familiarity with internationally and local accepted practices and negotiation skills.
