CONTRACTS / COMMERCIAL MANAGER
Arabian MEP provides a complete range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services though highly experienced Engineering & Project Management team fully complying to time, cost and quality requirements of projects.
Qualification Required : Post Graduate or Bachelors in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering. Or Project Management Professional / Post / Graduate Programme in Construction Project Management. 10-15 years of Experience.( 7-10 Years GCC Experience in managerial position)
Job Description :
Directly reporting to CEO, but working hand in hand with Director of Operations, Group Financial Controller, Estimation Manager, Commercial /Procurement Manager and supervise functions of Contracts and Planning Departments.
Responsibilities:
To set up fully functional and competent contracts department
To train all Junior Post Contract QS and guide them on Contracts and Claim Management
Review of contractual letters from Client/consultant & Main Contractor and drafting responses or reviewing/ providing contractual assistance to the same. Respond /Offer assistance. Drafts on any other commercial issues
Liaison with Project team in seeking with Extension of time, and drafting where applicable also formulation of variation order. Contractual drafting and substantiation of claims taking into due consideration of factual facts and events.
To provide valuable advice to CEO/ Estimation department in studying contract conditions of major tenders and advise on risks, liabilities, obligations and issues having financial implications.
