Approval Engineer
Job Purpose:
Approval Engineer to work at building permits complex To manage and review incoming/ outgoing NOL application/ proposals in line with Qatar Rail’s objectives and coordinate/ interface with DC manager in providing a holistic technical and management approach within the NOL dept.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Technical review of the structural, architectural and utility drawings submission by consultants.
•Drafting a formal response to MMUP and correspondences.
•To review and draft comment on NOL s regarding structural and utilities interface.
•Prepare meeting notes and review of minutes prepared by consultants.
Skills
•Knowledge of design codes and local standards for Structural and utility works.
•Knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Earth.
•Excellent oral and verbal communication skills in English.
•Strong decision making ability.
•Strong Knowledge of MS Office
•General knowledge in construction, rail system.
•On site construction experience.
Education
Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree or Architectural bachelor’s degree
