Primary purpose of job
Responsible for the planning and technical control of the air quality monitoring and supervise the operations and maintenance of the assigned Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AAQMS).
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 10-year Ambient Air Quality Monitoring related experience, preferably directly related to the O&M activities of Ambient Air Quality Stations. Additional supervisory and/or environmental related experience will be beneficial.- Professional certification or license from a credible meteorological/ environmental or related association/ society is an advantage.- Strong technical understanding of air quality monitoring and environmental/ meteorology requirements is essential.- Strong problem solving, decision making and communications skills are required.- Fluent in English.- Proven ability to perform with minimal supervision, organize, motivate and supervise junior staff.
Education
Degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Meteorology/ Environmental/ Science (Chemistry, Physics) or equivalent qualification.
