There are chances of scattered rain in the country during the coming weekend, the Met department has said.
On Tuesday, low visibility due to foggy conditions is likely in the northern and western parts of Qatar – as well as in offshore areas - in the early hours of the day.
In a tweet on Monday, the weather office said the cloud cover was expected to increase from Thursday, March 2, and there were chances of scattered light to moderate rain during the weekend.
Meanwhile, the detailed forecast for today says hazy to misty/foggy conditions are expected in some places at first, followed by mild daytime conditions. Offshore areas, too, are likely to see hazy to misty/foggy conditions in the early hours and it may also be cloudy during the day.
Visibility may drop to 2km or lower due to these conditions.
A minimum temperature of 11C is likely in Mesaieed and Wakrah Tuesday, while in Doha (airport area) it will be 15C. The maximum, on the other hand, will range from 20C to 24C.
On Monday, a minimum temperature of 10C was recorded in Mesaieed and Turayna, 11C in Abu Samra and Karana, and 15C in the Doha airport area. The maximum ranged from 20C to 26C.
