Doha: Unsettled weather conditions are expected to affect the country during the period between Friday noon, November 8 until the end of next week said Qatar Meteorology Department.
In a statement about expected weather conditions, the department said that this is due to the extension of low pressure over the region.
Weather is expected to become gradually partly cloudy to cloudy at times on intermittent periods with a chance of rain over most areas ranging between moderate to heavy at times in some areas may be thundery at times accompanied with strong wind exceeding 30 kt causing blowing dust and low visibility below 2 km at times as well as a sudden rise in wave height reaching 10 ft at times.
The prevailing wind during this period is northeasterly to easterly with maximum temperatures in the early thirties which is considered around average for this time of the year.
Qatar Meteorology Department urged residents to be cautious, avoid marine activities due to expected unsettled weather conditions as well as to follow latest updates through it's official social media accounts.
