DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a full closure on Omar Al Mukhtar Street in both directions from Omar Al Mukhtar intersection to 5/6 intersection, which will be effective from July 29, 2022 (Friday) at 1 am until August 12, 2022 (Friday) at 10 am.
The two-week closure is to carry out the necessary infrastructure and road works, Ashghal said in a tweet on its official handle.
Traffic from Al Jamia Street towards Omar Al Mukhtar Street can use alternative roads to Ibn Marwan Street or Al Farooq Street.
Traffic from 5/6 Intersection to Omar Al-Mukhtar Street has local access to the area through Nega Umm Garn Street & Al Shabab Street.
The internal road users can use the alternative roads leading to Al Khafji Street and Lusail Expressway, as per Ashghal.
