Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) issued a marine warning from tomorrow until Tuesday, October 5. Thundery rain along with strong winds and high waves are also likely during this period.
QMD further stated that the wind will blow light to moderately mainly northeasterly gusting to 25 KT with thundery rain.
The wave heights are also expected to rise at 7 ft during this weather condition.

"It is expected that a marine warning with thunder rain accompanied by strong winds with high waves will start from tomorrow Monday until Tuesday 5/10/2021 and the wind will be mainly Northeasterly light to moderate gusting to 25 KT with thunder rain and the wave will rise to 7 Ft," QMD stated.
In the same announcement on Twitter, QMD shared a weather radar video on the developments of Tropical Cyclone Shaheen as it started to unleash heavy rain in Muscat and South Al Batinah on Sunday morning which resulted in flooding and strong winds.
