The region’s leading food and grocery delivery app talabat has announced a partnership with Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel companies.
“talabat customers across the region will now receive 8% cashback directly to their talabat wallets when arranging their accommodation reservations through Booking.com using the http://booking.com/talabat link,” according to a statement.
The partnership with Booking.com is the first wallet partnership initiative in talabat’s regional lifestyle. talabat customers can choose from more than 28mn global accommodation listings on Booking.com, including hotels, homes, apartments, and other unique places to stay.
Francisco Miguel Sousa, managing director at talabat Qatar expressed: “There is no better time than the winter season to enjoy a wide range of destinations our country has to offer. Our partnership with Booking.com allows our Qatar-based customers to benefit from the added value behind the 8% cashback to their talabat wallets, ensuring that they get something back along with every time a vacation is booked.”
Along with offering customers more value on talabat when planning their next holiday, the launch of this new partnership also focuses on supporting the domestic tourism and hospitality industry in each operating country, something which Sousa believes is vital during the pandemic.
Once a customer has arranged accommodation using the booking.com/talabat with their talabat registered e-mail, they will receive talabat pay credits within 30-60 days after their stay is complete. The talabat pay credits can be redeemed within six months on the wallet function of the app.
