Doha: The 2022 summer activity events of the Qatar Scientific Club are set to kick off on Sunday and will last until Aug. 12, 2022.
The event includes a wide range of various scientific tracks to cover various scientific interests of the participants with the involvement of a broad cross-section of different age groups.
Deputy Executive Director of Qatar Scientific Club and Chairman of the summer activity committee, Eng. Abdulrahman Khamis said that such general activity comes this year to fulfill the aspirations of parents to make their children have the opportunity to fill their spare time during summer vacations and subsequently capitalize on these times to gain benefits and joy.
The activity is aligned with the promises made by the scientific club to proceed with offering new useful programs for the participants.
He reiterated the keenness of the club to offer diversified activities every year under the supervision of a number of Qatari male and female youths who have long and successful experience in organizing events in the club, as the activity also provides trainers with a high level of competence and well-versed trainers who are essentially aware of the requirements of providing a summer scientific summer activity after a long semester.
The summer camp comprises numerous principal tracks, the primary one is the STEM track entitled "safe summer," where the participants will get familiarized with the essential concepts of electricity and electrical circuits, concepts of electrical insulators and conductors, use the engineering design process, planning, engineering drawing, building and programming a fire engine.
The second track of this activity is dedicated to those who are interested in Auto mechanics and Qatar Scientific Club will provide a practical educational workshop to solve simple problems they encounter in their cars entitled " Repair your motor", while the third track is solely dedicated to raising children awareness digitally for what they watch, in addition to increasing their health awareness entitled "Come on to explore sciences," specifically for male and female groups, and they will watch interactive experiences on the importance of dental and kidney health.
The fourth track will be devoted to digital technology, including how to design and assemble electronic circuits and how to make 3D models, by designing a weather station.
