Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has announced that strong northwesterly winds will impact both inshore and offshore areas starting Thursday and continuing through Friday, July 18 to 19. These winds are expected to cause dust to rise in some regions of Qatar. At sea, wave heights are predicted to range between 3 to 5 feet, potentially reaching up to 7 feet.
No additional warnings have been issued by the Department regarding this forecast.
