The cloud amount is expected to increase gradually Saturday and there is a chance of scattered light rain in some areas, the Qatar Met department tweeted on Thursday.
Friday’s forecast shows that there is a warning for strong winds offshore along with high seas in the northeastern areas in the early hours of the day. Fine conditions will prevail later and there could be some scattered clouds.
The wind speed may go up to 22 knots in the northeastern offshore areas at first, with the sea level rising to 7ft. The forecast for inshore areas says it will be relatively hot during the day and some clouds are also expected. The maximum temperature on Friday will be 39C in Al Khor, 38C in Wakrah and Mesaieed, and 37C in Doha, while the minimum will range from 21C in Dukhan to 29C in Doha.
Thursday, the maximum was 41C in Turayna, followed by 40C in Al Khor, Abu Hamour, Sheehaniya and other places, and 37C in Doha. The minimum was 21C in Abu Samra and Dukhan, 22C in Mesaieed and 29C in Doha.
