There are chances of scattered light rain from tomorrow evening, the Qatar Met department has said. The weather forecast has also forecast it is likely to be hotter in the country today and tomorrow as compared to the previous days. In a report on its website, the Met department said southerly light to moderate winds — becoming fresh at times — are expected to affect the country and this will lead to a ‘noticeable rise’ in temperatures to 3-6C above normal for this time of the year.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach the mid-30C levels today and tomorrow in central, southern and western Qatar with a chance of slight dust in open areas.
Meanwhile, some parts of the country, including Doha, received light rain yesterday and similar conditions are likely to prevail again from tomorrow evening, the Met department has said.
Today’s detailed forecast says hazy to misty conditions are expected in some places in the early hours of the day, followed by mild daytime conditions and scattered clouds.
