In a press conference on this occasion, HE Director-General of the General Administration of Endowments Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed al-Thani said that the competition is aimed at instilling the love of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the hearts of the participants and introduce noble morals, in addition to providing them with the skills of public speaking, rhetoric, and eloquence.
The competition targets male and female students and their parents.
It focuses on the Hadiths which include the principles of religion, such as belief, rulings, and noble morals.
The competition for students is made up of five levels: four levels of memorising 20, 30, 40 and 50 Hadiths, while the fifth level, "The Elite", involves memorising the book of Bulugh Al-Maram Min Adillat Al-Ahkam by Imam Ibn Hajr Asqalani.
As for the parents' category, it is made up of two levels: memorising 50 Hadiths for those who do not work as an imam at the Ministry of Awqaf or a teacher of Sharia sciences in country schools, and the second level is the book of Bulugh Al-Maram.
