Doha: Saturday morning began with thunder and rains in most parts of Qatar.
This unstable weather is expected to continue for the next two days.
Qatar Meteorology Department has reported that the country is still under the influence of atmospheric instability due to an upper level low pressure system which is expected to continue until Monday morning, March 6, 2017.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will continue with scattered light – moderate rain over most areas becoming heavy at times with thunder.
The intensity of unstable weather condition expected to increase from today evening Saturday March 4 2017 until tomorrow afternoon Sunday.
The wind will be Northeasterly – Northwesterly light to moderate becoming fresh at times with thundery rain.
Qatar Meteorology Department urged residents to follow updates through its official social media accounts and check the weather forecast before sailing.
