QIIB-Visa deal to give 34 customers opportunity to win World Cup tickets

In collaboration with Visa, QIIB has launched a promotional campaign allowing 34 customers of its Visa credit/debit cardholders to win prizes, including two tickets each to attend one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches, courtesy of Visa. This represents an "extraordinary opportunity" for QIIB customers as the world’s most awaited and important sporting event gets closer, a press statement notes.

All QIIB Visa credit/debit cardholders have the chance to win once they use their Visa cards within or outside Qatar from September 1 to October 30.

Any transaction with a value of QR100 is considered as a chance to win; however, customers with the highest numbers of transactions during the specified period will win, provided that their total monthly spending is not less than QR5,000.

Each of QIIB’s 34 winners will receive two tickets to attend one match of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at either the opening/group stage/round of 16/quarter-final or final, in addition to eight skybox seats, courtesy of Visa. The winners will be chosen on October 17 and November 10 and there will be 17 winners each time. On the occasion of the launch of the new campaign, Omar Abdulaziz al-Meer, head of the Business Development and Alternative Channels Sector at QIIB, said: “We are pleased to continue preparing for the extraordinary event, which is taking place in Qatar through providing more offers for our customers. In collaboration with Visa, we are now granting our customers the opportunity to attend FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches through a two-month promotional campaign that aims to reward our customers and give them more benefits, which they deserve. “We are delighted to share the excitement of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with our customers, and make their Visa card usage more profitable and accessible to

the event that inspires everyone around the world and generates positive energy and passion in view of the noble values and human interaction represented by sports.”
