Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced the work schedule for financial institutions in the country during this year's FIFA World Cup.
In a post on social media yesterday, QCB said it has been decided to organise work as follows: 1. Branches of financial institutions whose headquarters are on Grand Hamad Street, or in the vicinity of Doha Corniche, shall have 20% of their employees present in the workplace, while 80% of the staff shall work remotely. The working hours shall be in accordance with the working hours currently in force. 2. As for branches of financial institutions whose headquarters are not located in the above areas, work shall continue in accordance with the current work system. The circular is effective from November 1-December 19.
