Qatari student team wins Gulf Health Council award

As part of the Healthcon initiative, a Qatari student team won the Gulf Health Council's award for the best creative idea for the campaign of 'electronic cigarette danger,' QNA reported from Riyadh.

Students from Gulf countries brainstormed creative ideas over the past few days, for three campaigns: the mental and social health campaign for the elderly, the electronic cigarette danger campaign, and the drugs campaign.

The Saudi student team won the best content award for the drugs campaign and the Omani student team won the best creative idea of changing behaviour for the mental and social health campaign for the elderly. The UAE students won the best presentation award for the mental and social health campaign for the elderly and the Kuwaiti student team won the team spirit award for the drugs campaign.

Director of Public Health Department and Member of the Executive Board of the Gulf Health Council Sheikh Dr Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani, General Manager of the Gulf Health Council Sulaiman al-Dakheel, and Director of Supply Department and Member of the Executive Board of the Gulf Health Council Nayef Asaad al-Jashaam handed over the awards to the winning students.
