Qatar welcomed 'Al-Ula Declaration' announced on the sidelines of the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which was held in Al-Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
Qatar underlined in a statement that this meeting comes in at this decisive moment as an extension of the joint work process in its Gulf, Arab and Islamic framework, and in favour of the supreme interest in a way that strengthens the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between peoples, anchoring the principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect.
Qatar said that Al-Ula Declaration complements the sincere and dedicated efforts led by late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, which were continued by the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, praising at the same time the efforts exerted by the United States in convergence of views.
Qatar underlined that the unity of the Gulf ranks and its peoples has always been on the list of the State's endeavors and a priority for it, expressing its aspiration to achieve the ambitions of the GCC peoples for more solidarity, growth and stability.
