Doha: Under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar University (QU) will hold the male students’ graduation ceremony, Class of 2020 on Monday, October 12 at 10am, in celebration and recognition of the 43rd batch of QU students (Class of 2020).
The ceremony for distinguished female students will be held in the presence of H H Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, wife of H H the Amir, on Tuesday, October 13 at 10am.
During the ceremony, safety and precautionary measures will be adopted by the attendees in context of combating COVID-19 pandemic. Attendance will be limited to graduates and senior university officials while observing social distancing. The graduation ceremony will take place over two consecutive days.
As part of preparations of graduation ceremony for the batch of 2020, this year 3,075 students (2,368 females and 707 male) from fall 2019, winter 2019, spring 2019 and summer 2020 will participate.
