Doha: The Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Qatar began today morning at seven designated health centers in the country.
The selected patients - those over 70-year-old, adults in chronic care, those with severe chronic diseases, and healthcare personnel - were contacted by phone/sms.
The vaccine by Pfizer and BioNTech has passed all regulatory approvals and will be given to the high risk groups in the first phase of vaccination from December 23 to January 31.
The vaccinations are being given from seven primary health centres, at:
Al Wajba Health Centre
Leabaib Health Center
Al Ruwais Health Center
Umm Slal Health Center
Rawdat Al Khail Health Center
Al Thumama Health Center
Muaither Health Center
