HE the Attorney-General of Qatar Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center, signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding with President of Cadi Ayyad University Pr Moulay Lhassan to establish a chair on the rule of law and anti-corruption in the university.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of an academic forum on fighting corruption that was held in the university under the auspices of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center with the attendance of HE Dr al-Marri and Chief Public Prosecutor in Morocco and the King’s Attorney-General Mohamed Abdel Nabawi, a number of deans of colleges, and law students in Morocco.
Speaking during the forum, HE Dr al-Marri highlighted the strong academic partnership between the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center and the Cadi Ayyad University. He also praised the strong and historical ties between Qatar and Morocco in all fields, noting that the memorandum of understanding will be the beginning of further co-operation in the future.
