Qatar’s real estate sector which is witnessing significant development supports the national economy’s diversity and competitiveness, according to the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari
The Minister inaugurated the ninth edition of Cityscape Qatar 2021 being held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), yesterday.
The Minister also stressed the importance of Cityscape Qatar 2021.
After the inauguration, Minister Al Kuwari toured the exhibition and was briefed on the latest and most prominent real estate projects in Qatar, in addition to the various services and investment opportunities provided by the participating companies.
H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari pointed out that Cityscape Qatar 2021 represents an important platform showcasing the development being witnessed by the real estate sector in Qatar, especially amid the projected positive growth indicators of the national economy, and the recovery of real estate markets during the coming period. Minister Al Kuwari also reiterated the pivotal role played by the real estate sector in supporting the national economy’s diversity and competitiveness.
He further expressed his hope that the three-day event would achieve tangible results that will consolidate Qatar’s position as an ideal destination for real estate investment in the region.
On the sidelines of the event, Minister Al Kuwari also witnessed the signing of a contract between Qatar Chamber and Qatari Diar, on the purchase of the new building for Qatar Chamber in Lusail Commercial Boulevard, which is set to become the Chamber’s main headquarters.
The contract was signed by Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatari Diar CEO Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah.
Cityscape Qatar 2021 aims to shed light on the most prominent real estate projects across Qatar, as well as provide a platform for communication between residential buyers, investors, and real estate sector specialists in the field of design and construction.
