Doha: From this evening, Qatar Airways, Qatar's national carrier, began rerouting flights through Saudi Arabian airspace.
"This evening Qatar Airways began to reroute some flights through Saudi airspace with the first scheduled flight expected to be QR 1365, Doha to Johannesburg at 20.45 this evening, 7 January," the airline tweeted.
This will be the first flight after the blockade started in 2017. After the Al-Ula agreement on Tuesday, Saudi had announced to restore all ties and open airspace, land and sea border with Qatar.
