Doha, Qatar: The latest update from the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) forecasts ongoing rain across various parts of the nation for this week, with precipitation expected in Doha on Monday and Tuesday, October 30 and 31.
The QMD also issued a warning about anticipated thundery rain paired with strong winds on Monday, indicating that the weather conditions will be partly cloudy to cloudy at intervals, with scattered rain, some potentially thundery.
Temperatures in Doha are expected to fluctuate between 25°C and 31°C.
Inshore winds will predominantly range from northwesterly to northeasterly, at speeds of 5-15 knots and gusts of up to 30 knots, particularly during thundery rain.
Offshore, the winds will mostly be from northwesterly to northeasterly directions at 3-13 knots, with occasional gusts reaching 18 knots.
Sea conditions inshore will vary between 1 to 2 feet but may rise to 4 feet at times, while offshore conditions will range between 1 to 3 feet, possibly rising to 8 feet intermittently.
