Al-Mohannadi added that the feelings of love and gratitude are expressed by the people of Qatar on this day, and the importance of preserving all concepts of unity, friendliness, peace and brotherhood among various segments of society is emphasised.
Regarding the GTA's most important achievements, al-Mohannadi stressed that the authority had achievements with economic impact, as facilities were provided to foreign companies and several agreements that prevent double taxation and financial evasion were signed.
Al-Mohannadi also pointed out that the Authority worked on developing its information systems infrastructure and the internal network in a way that provided a completely electronic environment in which all transactions and services are provided electronically through the 'Dhareeba' system.
He stressed the Authority's keenness to develop its human cadre through several initiatives and programmes, including training programmes with the Qatar Finance and Business Academy and Qatar University to provide specialised programmes that raise the skill and efficiency of the employee, which will be measured through a set of tools that have been prepared to achieve the desired goals in a systematic and orderly manner.
Al-Mohannadi concluded by saying that the authority is continuing its path in achieving its future goals within its strategy that aims for the economic diversification and sustainable development desired in the Qatar National Vision 2030, through several projects and studies that will form the basic features of taxation in the country.
