Mobile app for S’hail 2021 exhibition launched

The Organizing Committee of the 5th edition of Katara International Hunting & Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2021) has announced the launch of the exhibition’s mobile application. 

The app allows visitors to get their entry ticket and bid on falcons participating in the S’hail auction.

“The Organizing committee of S’hail exhibition is pleased to announce the launching of S’hail application through which you can get your entry ticket to S’hail exhibition and bid on falcons participating in S’hail auction,” the Cultural Village Foundation posted on its Twitter account.

Around 160 international companies representing 19 countries from different continents will participate in the exhibition which will begin tomorrow and continue until September 11.

The event will be held at Katara and is considered the biggest exhibition of falcons, hunting and camping equipment in the Middle East. The opening hours is from 10 am to 10pm, and on Friday from 2pm to 11pm.

Malika Mohammad Al Shuraim, member of the Organizing Committee of S’hail said that this event is one of the most important exhibitions that witness a great turnout and are awaited by many hunting enthusiasts. “The exhibition brings together major companies selling global hunting weapons and rifles,” she added. 

This edition will be very distinguished as the space has been increased compared to the previous editions.

Meanwhile, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), yesterday signed an agreement with the Social & Sport Contribution Fund (Daam) as a supporter of the 5th edition of Katara (S’hail 2021). This came in a press conference attended by General Manager of Katara, Prof Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, and CEO of Daam, Abdul Rahman Abdul Latif Al Mannai.

Al Sulaiti thanked Daam Fund praising the joint cooperation between Katara and the Daam Fund, which is one of the most important factors for the success and distinction of the exhibition.

“The cooperation of Katara and the Social & Sport Contribution Fund (Daam) contributes to strengthening the leadership of the S’hail Exhibition, which has become an attractive global destination for owners of falconers, hunting enthusiasts and campers, and an important forum for exchanging opinions and experiences about the world of falconry and hunting.” Al Sulaiti noted that the agreement aims to provide the necessary support to the exhibition. 

For his part, CEO of Daam, Abdul Rahman Abdul Latif Al-Mannai expressed his pleasure in continuing providing support to S’hail in its fifth edition. 

“It is our belief in the importance of culture of hunting and falconry breeding in the Qatari society, in order to preserve this ancient heritage.”

“The support of this event comes within the framework of achieving the vision of the Fund aimed at supporting activities that would revive the Qatari cultural heritage,” he added.
