Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced to start receiving applications for licensing and operating new private schools and kindergartens for the academic year 2021-22, from November 1, 2020 until December 31.
MoEHE said in an advertisement that it has set conditions and requirements for the owner, the premises and the academic aspect in accordance with Private School Licensing Manual.
As per the requirements, the applicant should not be an employee of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education or of any of its affiliated bodies. A copy of the applicant’s ID card is required, and the applicant should be 21 years and above.
The applications have to be submitted online through the MoEHE website. For further information the applicants can contact the Private School Licensing Department at 44045128 and 44044772.
According to the website of the MoEHE, the applicant for private educational institution must have the education activity on the list of authorised activities, be in possession of full civil capacity The applicant should be of good conduct and reputation.Â
