To provide high-quality education with a local focus, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in coordination with Qatar Foundation (QF) yesterday launched a new online education platform, ‘Rasekh’.
The platform, run by Qatar Foundation in Arabic and English, is available for all schools operating in Qatar.

The Rasekh initiative aims to provide a high-quality educational experience guided by a vision of a local nature by enabling schools to integrate curricula with knowledge, local innovations, values, heritage and national identity.
This also aims at meeting global sustainability challenges related to the local context, in addition to strengthening the Arabic language, highlighting national values and identity, and spreading local knowledge.
The initiative also aims to build bridges between all knowledge societies within and outside Qatar Foundation, while ensuring students’ access to knowledge in various fields, encouraging students’ work that reflects their values, morals and national identity, and enabling them to present their work locally and globally and communicate in their mother tongue with pride.
