Doha, Qatar: The weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday is expected to feature scattered clouds, with occasional dustiness, and blowing dust in certain areas, according to the Department of Meteorology's daily weather report, cautioning about the presence of strong winds.
In a social media update, the department mentioned that a noticeable drop in temperature is anticipated in the coming days, resulting in mild to relatively cold weather during the night. Additionally, relative humidity levels are expected to decrease due to the influence of northwesterly winds.
Offshore, the weather is forecasted to be scattered clouds to partly cloudy at times, with a chance of thunder rain initially, the report noted, while also warning of anticipated thundery rain, strong winds, and high sea conditions.
Inshore wind is expected to be Northwesterly at 12 to 20 knots, gusting to 26 knots at certain locations during the daytime. Offshore, the wind is forecasted to be northerly to northwesterly at 18 to 25 knots, with gusts reaching 35 knots at times.
Visibility inshore during the daytime is predicted to range from 04 to 09/03 KM or less. Offshore visibility is expected to be between 04 to 08 KM.
The sea state inshore is forecasted to be between 2 to 4 FT, rising to 5 FT, while offshore sea conditions are expected to range from 5 to 8 FT, rising to 12 FT.
