"From January 26, six lanes of the 10-lane drive-through centre will be dedicated to booster vaccinations while the remaining four lanes will continue to offer Covid-19 testing for eligible groups," the ministry said in a notice on social media Tuesday.
Booster doses will be provided by invitation only through an appointment system from 8am to 10pm.
To receive a booster dose at the Lusail centre, individuals require an invitation appointment SMS identifying their time slot and will be seen on a first-come-first-seen basis, at any time during those operational hours.
A total of 675,049 Covid-19 booster vaccine doses have been administered in the country till date.
The drive-through facility near Lusail Sports Complex was opened earlier this month to significantly expand Covid-19 testing capacity and enhance accessibility for swabbing.
