Doha: Qatar Chamber said on Tuesday that it has successfully developed its recently-launched initiative called the Labor Re-employment Platform in a way that enables companies seeking to contact new employees to login to the platform and select their preferred candidates.
In a statement, the Chamber also noted that both companies that have redundant workers and companies that need workers could benefit from the platform's services. It pointed out that companies that have laid-off workers and employees can register on the platform and upload their resumes, while individuals could also log into the platform and register their CVs to search for suitable work in the private sector.
At the same time companies that are willing to make new hires could register on the platform, identify the available candidates and choose the ones they deem most suitable and contract them through the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) in accordance with the laws and procedures of the state.
The Chamber invited companies looking for new employees to login to the platform and benefit from the services it provides by filling an electronic form on the Chambers website and getting a link to enter the platform.
The Labor Re-employment Platform was launched by the Chamber early this month with the aim to assist companies. The platform stressed the Chambers commitment to helping companies hire more easily.
