Commercial Bank has installed a large mural of the iconic ‘Tamim Al Majd’ portrait on the façade of the Commercial Bank Plaza building in West Bay as a show of support for His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
Covering a large section of the building’s façade, the image is one of the largest attractions of its kind near the Doha Corniche, Commercial Bank has said in a statement, noting that the initiative marks “a huge display of support” for His Highness the Emir.
The installation of the ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural follows a signing ceremony led by Commercial Bank’s chairman and board of directors, GCEO and executive management, and bank staff who collectively signed on a smaller version of the mural inside Commercial Bank Plaza and wrote supportive messages for His Highness the Emir and the nation.
Commercial Bank said it has fully embraced the Tamim Al Majd initiative and has placed additional murals of His Highness the Emir’s image within its branches for customers to sign on. The bank is also using the image on its ATMs and across its digital banking channels.
Further, the bank has stressed it is proud to display the ‘Tamim Al Majd’ mural outside its headquarters as an expression of unity with all members of the Qatari community in appreciation for His Highness the Emir, a renewal of loyalty and a symbol of the bank’s unwavering commitment to Qatar’s development in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
