Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced that from Sunday 6 March, it will resume delivery of in-person outpatient appointments at full capacity, following a reduction in face-to-face capacity throughout the recent COVID-19 wave in order to protect patients, visitors and healthcare staff.
The return to normal service delivery comes following the significant decline in COVID-19 cases in Qatar in recent weeks after the Omicron wave of the virus.
Today Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported 291 Covid-19 cases in Qatar and the total number of active cases in the country is now at 2,883. The last few days have seen a consistent fall in Covid-19 cases in Qatar. Qatar is also ranked as one of the most vaccinated countries in the world.
