HMC announces hospital operating hours during Ramadan

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours for the Holy Month of Ramadan. All emergency and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will operate as usual, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Dr Yousef al-Maslamani, medical director of Hamad General Hospital, is also reminding patients who have appointments at HMC clinics during Ramadan about the importance of attending their appointment as scheduled.

“If you feel you are unable to attend your appointment, please call Nesma’ak on 16060 to reschedule. Missing an appointment with one of our specialists can have a serious impact on your health and the health of other patients,” Dr. al-Maslamani said. “If we know you are unable to attend your appointment, we can rearrange your appointment for the next available and clinically appropriate time and give your previously scheduled time to someone who needs to be seen urgently.”

Hamad General Hospital outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday and evening clinics will be open from 8.30pm to 11.30pm, Sunday to Thursday. The evening clinic at the Bone and Joint Center will be open from 1pm to 5pm, Sunday to Thursday.

The main Outpatients Department (OPD) pharmacy, located on the ground floor of Hamad General Hospital will be open from 8am to 1pm and from 8.30pm to 12am (midnight), Sunday to Thursday.

Women’s Hospital/Women's Wellness and Research Center outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm and from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, Sunday to Thursday and the OPD pharmacy will be open during clinic times.

Ambulatory Care Center outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday, with afternoon and evening clinics in GI/Endoscopy open from 1pm to 4pm, Urology from 1pm to 4pm, and ENT from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.

Al Wakra Hospital outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 4pm, Sunday to Wednesday, from 7am to 3pm on Thursdays, and from 11am to 2pm on Saturdays. The Burns Surgery outpatient service will also be open from 7am to 3pm on Saturdays. Dentistry services will operate from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 11pm, Sunday to Thursday. The main OPD pharmacy and laboratory (phlebotomy) services will operate during OPD clinic times.

Communicable Disease Center outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 5pm, Sunday to Wednesday, and from 8am to 1pm on Thursdays. All support services, including pharmacy, radiology, and laboratory (phlebotomy), will be available during OPD clinic times.

Qatar Rehabilitation Institute outpatient clinics will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday and the OPD pharmacy will be open during clinic times.

At the Cuban Hospital, there are no changes to OPD clinic and pharmacy operating hours. Outpatient clinics and pharmacy services will be open from 7.15am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday and dependent on appointments, OPD dental services will operate until 5pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Heart Hospital outpatient clinics and the non-invasive service will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. There will be no evening clinics throughout Ramadan. The OPD pharmacy will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 11am to 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The Cath Lab will operate from 7am to 3pm, with on-call services available for emergencies 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Al Khor Hospital outpatient clinics and OPD dental services will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. There will be no evening clinics during Ramadan.

Rumailah Hospital outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. All therapy services will be open from 7am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday, and OPD pharmacy services will operate from 8am to 4pm, Sunday and Tuesday and from 8am to 3pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The Plastic Surgery Service will be open from 8am to 4pm, Sunday and Tuesday and from 8am to 1pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Wound Care Clinic will be open from 7am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday, and the Geriatric and Long-term Care service will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from 8am to 3pm on Tuesdays. The Oral and Maxillofacial service will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday, and will hold evening clinics from 8pm to 11pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

Hamad Dental Center Orthodontic and Paediatric Dentistry Clinics will be open from 8am to 4pm, Sunday to Thursday. Prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and dental diagnostic and surgical science services will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday. Evening clinics will be scheduled from 8.30pm to 11.30pm, Sunday to Thursday.

National Center for Cancer Care and Research outpatient clinics will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday and evening clinics will be open on Mondays from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. OPD pharmacy services will be open from 8am to 1.30pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. The Day Care Unit will be open from 7am to 7pm, Sunday and Thursday and from 7am to 3pm from Monday to Wednesday and on Saturdays. Radiation therapy services will be open from 7am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Mental Health Services outpatient clinics and OPD pharmacy services will be open from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday and evening clinics will operate from 8.30pm to 11.30pm at Hamad General Hospital on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Referral and Booking Management System will operate from 7am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday.

Nesma’ak Customer Care will operate from 7am to 10pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday. Patients requiring information about scheduled appointments or clinic operating hours during Ramadan can call 16060 during these times. During Ramadan, Nesma’ak will continue to send mobile text message reminders to patients prior to their appointment. To confirm or change your appointment, please call 16060.
