For the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, three-quarters of the teams will be based within a 10km (six miles) radius of each other, and unlike in previous tournaments, every team will stay in the same hotel and use the same training base throughout the tournament.
The base camps consist of four-star and five-star hotels, villas, resorts, and non-hotel accommodations, such as sports academies buildings, school dormitories and university residences, in addition to other facilities such as treatment rooms.
All the bases are distinguished by their ability to protect the privacy of the teams and all the necessary safety protocols have been provided.
