Doha, Qatar: The Katara Cultural Village Foundation continues to captivate the public with its vibrant Eid Al Adha festivities, drawing large crowds with its diverse artistic performances and workshops along the Katara Corniche.
On the second day, children dressed in their finest clothes received Eid gifts, enjoying a day filled with fun and entertainment. The evening was highlighted by spectacular fireworks displays, which lit up the Katara Corniche with dazzling colors and shapes, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement for both adults and children.
A heritage-themed event featuring the piano (Rabab) attracted enthusiasts, adding a cultural touch to the celebrations. The Al Thuraya Planetarium also saw a significant number of visitors, with three shows running daily from 5 to 8 pm.
Katara ensured a comfortable experience for all visitors by providing essential services and facilities, including information centers to assist with inquiries and guide visitors to various attractions. Katara remains a top destination for cultural and tourist activities, especially during holidays. The Katara Beach is open for visitors who enjoy swimming, sea games, and water sports, from 3 to 11 pm, with swimming allowed until sunset.
