The Ministry of Defence on Sunday tweeted about a drive-through testing service for novel coronavirus (Covid-19) for those who have returned to Qatar from overseas between March 10 and 21 and currently in home quarantine after signing an official undertaking.
The tests are launched by the Ministry of Public Health to make it more convenient for the target group to access their tests. The service is for those who have not been swabbed to test for Covid-19 since returning to their home, it is explained in the infographs in the tweet.
They have to call the hotline 16000 and choose Option 2 to arrange a time to register for testing. The callers have to provide their full name, QID number, contact phone number, address details (as per the blue plate details), date of return to Qatar, and the number of the return flight.
