The health inspectors of the municipality will work daily in three shifts during Ramadan, from 8am to 1pm, 1pm to 6pm, and from 8pm to 1am to conduct operations in the local market.
The inspection will cover the central market at Abu Hamour, and all the other food facilities and outlets within Doha. Besides, all shops have been given instructions to avoid displaying their goods on the pavements and abide by the regulations of the public hygiene law.
The inspection would be focused on sweets and nuts shops during the second week of Ramadan, and on fruit, vegetable and meat shops during the fourth week.
Public gardens in Doha will receive visitors from 3pm until 3am daily.
