Doha Festival City (DHFC) has said it is celebrating the opening of the world’s first Angry Birds World theme park, "making it the place to be for everyone in Qatar".
Over the month of Ramadan, Angry Birds World Indoor will welcome visitors from 10 am to 3 pm and from 7 pm to 1 am, until May 18. Then, from May 19 to June 4, the timings will be from 10 am to 2 pm.
Angry Birds Outdoor opens daily from 7 pm to 1 am, until May 18, while from May 19 to June 4, it will remain open from 7.30pm to 2 am.
Home to the world-famous flock of Angry Birds, the 17,000sqm nest features "one of the much-talked-about attractions": the 42m-high Super Slingshot.
Guests can also enjoy Red’s House, The Raft Battle and the Angry Coaster – a fast and furious ride that twists through the air. Adventurists can head to the park’s City Studio, a bustling adventure hub, to test their strengths with a range of activities involving wall climbing, parabolic slides, roller gliders, and a ropes course.
Once indoors, visitors can also enjoy exhilarating rides such as the Blast Bomb, Red Alert, The Big Tree and the Trampoline Universe, which includes a basketball court, foam pit and a kids’ court in addition to Angry Birds GO – the multi-level indoor and outdoor karting track and Epic Battle the famous laser tag game .
