Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah paid a visit to one of the Qatar Armed Forces’ units receiving training in the US State of West Virginia.
These forces are in the United States within the framework of military cooperation between the two friendly countries, which has witnessed clear progress in recent years, in an effort to ensure international peace and security and to combat terrorism.
H E the Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied during the visit by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States, H E Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani and Qatari Military Attache to the United States, Staff Brigadier Geneneral Nawaf bin Mubarak Al Thani.
